National High Five & Pajama at Work Day – Celebrated each year on the third Thursday in April, this is a day to spread some positive energy by giving a “high five” to everyone you encounter. Bonus, the day after Tax Day is also Pajamas at Work Day. Wear your favorite work appropriate PJs on this day and get cozy and comfortable!
Administrative Professionals Week – Celebrated April 19-25 this year, this time recognizes your support professionals. The origins date back to 1952, originally labeled as “National Secretaries Week”. The name later changed in the early 2000s to recognize the wide variety of administrative personnel. During this week, remember that admins are the backbone of our organization and make amends for any unspoken thank-yous. Give your support folks praise and treat them with respect as they truly deserve it.
