• How long have you worked for Strategic Communications?
I joined the team in 2017.
• What was your background prior to working for Strategic Communications?
Academically – Masters in Computer Science
Professionally – worked as Cloud Architect at Bose Corporation
• What aspect of your job do you find most rewarding or fulfilling?
I would say helping people solve problems or gain clarity—whether it’s explaining a tough concept, guiding someone through writing, or offering support when they’re stuck or unsure. Seeing that moment of understanding or progress, even virtually, is fulfilling.
• What is the best career lesson you’ve learned so far?
The best career lesson I’ve learned so far is the importance of taking ownership. Whether a project succeeds or faces challenges, owning my responsibilities—and even mistakes—builds trust, shows integrity, and leads to real growth. It’s helped me stay accountable and proactive in everything I do.
• Outside of work, what are you passionate about/enjoy doing?
Spending time with family and friends
• What is your current favorite TV Show, Podcast, or Book that you’d like to share with the world?

• What is something that people may not know about you?
I like Cooking and try to cook new dishes but I’m not a foodie

• How long have you worked for Strategic Communications?
I’ve been with Strategic for a bit more than 3 years now, I started in 2022
• What was your background prior to working for Strategic Communications?
I am a graduate of University of Richmond (long time ago!) with degrees in Spanish and International Studies. Professionally, my IT background is in the areas of ITSM consulting, Software Asset Management, and Data Center. Primarily in the commercial areas of SMB and Enterprise sales.
• What aspect of your job do you find most rewarding or fulfilling?
Internally at Strategic, I really enjoy the opportunity to be “part of the solution” with an incredible group of teammates. Externally, I love the fact that what we do can help with something as simple as spending less time at the DMV, to as important as making our schools, cities, and country safer.
• What is the best career lesson you’ve learned so far?
It was actually something that my Dad wrote in my college graduation card: “Don’t be afraid to fail but be even LESS afraid to succeed!”
• Outside of work, what are you passionate about/enjoy doing?
I enjoy golf and tennis but as many folks know, I am REALLY passionate about my family: My wife Robin and I have been married for 22 years and love doing things together with our kids: Kelsey (20), Hayden (18), and Dylan (16). Usually involves a beach and a high level of friendly competition. 😊
• What is your current favorite TV Show, Podcast, or Book that you’d like to share with the world?
Right now, my favorite show is called “The Studio” by Seth Rogen…it has an old-time comedy and vintage Hollywood cinema vibe that I really like!
• What is something that people may not know about you?
In a past life I have been a Spanish Teacher, Real Estate Agent, and part-time bar band singer. Being from New Jersey, I have also met Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi.

• What is your favorite project that you’ve worked on at Strategic?
It was the Marine Corps Information Technology Center (MCITC) network and phone system upgrade.
• What does your dream vacation look like?
Another trip back to Sturgis.
• Who is your favorite musical artist, and what was the first concert you attended?
Burke Shelley / Kiss
• How would your family, friends, or coworkers describe you in three words?
Dependable and Trustworthy (I hope anyway)..
• What is your current favorite TV Show, Podcast, or Book that you’d like to share with the world?
Not sure if it counts but NHL hockey, and the hockey playoffs…
