- When did you start working for Strategic Communications?
I started in February of 2025 - What was your background prior to working for Strategic Communications?
I have a B.S. In Music and started working in a small local music store in 2001. I started in the retail side of the store and became more and more involved with the AV installation side. I eventually made the pivot to AV engineering in 2020. - What aspect of your job do you find most rewarding or fulfilling?
I enjoy the teamwork within Strategic. We all work well together and have each other's backs. - What is the best career lesson you've learned so far?
Lean on the people around you and be a part of the team. It always pays off! - Outside of work, what are you passionate about/enjoy doing?
I love being with my family, my wife, Kelly, and my kids, Iris, Ike, and Ivy. And yes, naming them all "I" names is infinitely confusing... - What is your current favorite TV Show, Podcast, or Book that you’d like to share with the world?
I love a good survival show. "Alone" is my current favorite. The amount of survival shows I have watched has given me a false sense of confidence that I would be able to do it myself. - What is something that people may not know about you?
I am a musician at heart and play Guitar and Bass whenever I can. I also do stringed instrument repair (I'm a Fender Certified Repair Tech) and dabble in voice acting on the side.

- When did you start working for Strategic Communications?
This May, so just a few months ago! - What was your background prior to working for Strategic Communications?
I have about 10 years in event planning - from birthday parties, fundraisers, weddings - but most notable I owned my own children's party business where we dressed up and portrayed your favorite (d)isney princesses! - What aspect of your job do you find most rewarding or fulfilling?
For me, it's getting to watch everything come together. There's something REALLY satisfying about seeing an event go from months of planning to people walking away saying "Tha was so much fun!". They never know what goes on behind the curtain, even if the curtain is close to catching on fire! I try to make everything feel seamless. Calm under pressure, solving problems on the fly, and creating an experience that people remember makes all the planning worth it! - What is the best career lesson you've learned so far?
Always have a plan... and a plan B.. and C... and D, E, F, G - preparation is always important okay? But I've also learned that events rarely go exactly as planned. Often times you have to throw the script out the window, adapt quickly, and focus on the points that matter. I like to separate my "must-haves" from my "nice-to-haves" so that no matter what happens, we get from Point A to Point B. Under-promise - Over-deliver. Oh and that really my title should read "Chaos Coordinator" but then again - you'd never know there was chaos in the first place! - Outside of work, what are you passionate about/enjoy doing?
I love anything that lets me be creative. Whether it's designing logos, making custom t-shirts, 3D printing, painting, or whatever new mode I want to test out usually in order to create personalized gifts for my friends and family. Gift giving is absolutely my love language! I enjoy making something that brightens some else's day! And I find it really magical to bring ideas to life! - What is your current favorite TV Show, Podcast, or Book that you’d like to share with the world?
I'm a huge binge watcher. If its got more than 6 seasons - sign me up!! Grey's Anatomy is competing for the longest running commitment in my life - 22 seasons!! However I absolutely cannot go to sleep unless I have The Office playing in the background. Its the best white noise machine out there. - What is something that people may not know about you?
I have a theater degree and love to act! I've been professionally trained, can do multiple accents, and have even done voice work for a few B-projects. Also through like family friends who owned a television production studio out in California I had the chance to visit TV sets - including The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, and even got to run around in the back of an episode!

- When did you start working for Strategic Communications?
June or July of 2023, so over 3 years ago now. - What is your favorite project that you’ve worked on at Strategic?
My favorite project here was designing a system for imaging company laptops. I really enjoyed starting with a blank slate, finding the right approach and tools, and building it from the ground up. It’s small but It was great to see the very tangible impact of being able to quickly get machines out the door. - What does your dream vacation look like?
A couple weeks anywhere, as long as the food is good! - Who is your favorite musical artist, and what was the first concert you attended?
I’m a massive Tool fan and can’t wait to see them at Louder than Life this year. I think my first concert was Rob Zombie, back in 2013 or so. - Outside of work, what are you passionate about/enjoy doing?
I love traveling, experiencing different cultures, and seeing new parts of the world. I’m especially excited to be traveling to Paros and Athens, Greece in July. - How would your family, friends, or coworkers describe you in three words?
Probably quiet, funny, attentive. - What is your current favorite TV Show, Podcast, or Book that you’d like to share with the world?
Right now, I’m really enjoying Malazan Book of the Fallen, by Steven Erikson.
