October 14 – Strategic’s Birthday – On this day, Strategic celebrates thirty-one years in operation. We’ll have some treats for our Louisville-based staff! October also recognizes National Women’s Small Business Month. As a woman and minority owned small business, Strategic proudly honors our female leaders and staff. You can do your part too by supporting female entrepreneurs and woman-owned businesses in your communities.

October 16 – National Boss’s Day – Studies show many positive benefits for employee recognition. In addition to recognizing peers and individual contributors, it’s important to remember and acknowledge leaders who build camaraderie, promote inclusion and foster innovation within teams. If you are thankful for your boss, be sure to tell them today!

October 25 – Fall Outing - Join us from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm for a family friendly fall outing at Gallrein Farms in Shelbyville! All employees, spouses/significant others and children are invited! We’ll be providing activity bracelets for the kids, and each family will receive tickets for the food trucks and a pumpkin. Please be sure to rsvp to hr_strategic@yourstrategic.com.

October 31 – Halloween – Let’s make it a spooktacular Friday! Costumes will be optional for staff on this day. We’ll plan to meet at 3:30 pm at headquarters for a photo opportunity and share some Halloween themed treats. For those partaking in other Halloween festivities or trick-or-treating, we encourage you to share your best costume photos for our social media.

Josiah Garvizu – “Josiah always goes above and beyond in support of his projects. Recently, a GC took out some frustration on Josiah during a project and Josiah handled it professionally and engaged the engineering team to help relay the message of the holdup. After the meeting, the GC was satisfied with Josiah approach, and the project is still on task. Thanks Josiah.” – Josh Ballard
