The U.S. Army CHESS Information Technology Enterprise Solutions Software 2 (ITES-SW2) contract is a follow on to the Army CHESS ITES-SW contracts that are the Army’s mandatory source for commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) IT software. Strategic Communications is one of only 31 contractors on the $13 billion 10-year award.
The scope of the Army CHESS ITES-SW2 contract includes software products and related services that have obtained a full Certificate of Networthiness (CoN). It will support Army, Department of Defense (DoD) and all Federal Agency enterprise Information Technology (IT) infrastructure and info-structure goals. There are 14 different product categories including IT Utility & Security, Modeling & Simulation, Multimedia & Design, Program & Development, NetOps, and Operating Systems. These 14 categories align with the major software categories identified by U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM).
