Strategic Communications Wins California SLP Contract for Experian Software
Strategic Communications LLC has been awarded a new Software Licensing Program (SLP) contract with the State of California, designated SLP-23-70-0391C. The contract makes Strategic Communications the authorized provider of Experian Information Solutions software to California's public sector, giving agencies a faster, simpler path to enterprise-grade data and analytics tools.
What the Contract Covers
SLP-23-70-0391C provides access to Experian software products along with the services needed to deploy and maintain them:
- Software licenses — direct access to Experian's data, analytics, and software products.
- Maintenance and subscriptions — ongoing maintenance and SaaS renewals locked at the agency's prior applicable rates or lower, with a guaranteed 0% uplift and no hidden fees for the duration of the contract.
- Technical support — comprehensive assistance to resolve software issues and minimize downtime.
- Installation and implementation services — professional deployment support to ensure correct integration into existing IT environments. Implementation services require a Statement of Work and are billed in arrears at the hourly rates in the SLP price list.
Note that standalone hardware, consulting services, telecommunication products, and cloud IaaS/PaaS fall outside the scope of this contract, but can be purchased through our NASPO Participating Addendum in the State of California.
Who Can Use It
The contract is valid from August 23, 2023 through July 31, 2026 and is available to a broad range of California public entities, including state departments and agencies, cities, counties, special districts, K-12 public schools, community colleges, the CSU and UC systems, and any local government body empowered to expend public funds. Local agencies retain the flexibility to determine whether the SLP aligns with their own procurement policies.
