Every month, the employees at Strategic Communications are given the opportunity to acknowledge exemplary colleagues within or outside their department. Three individuals were chosen by their coworkers for their commitment to customer service, perseverance in the face of challenges, and can-do attitudes!

Cheyenne Meredith | HR Office Administrator

• How long have you worked for Strategic Communications?

About a year and a half now

• What aspect of your job do you find the most rewarding or fulfilling?

The most fulfilling part of my job is completing tasks accurately. Whether it’s ensuring accurate travel arrangements to make people’s lives easier or meticulously executing partner agreements, the satisfaction comes from knowing that my attention to detail contributes to seamless operations and successful outcomes.

• What aspect of your job do you find most rewarding or fulfilling?

Knowing that what we sell to the government impacts our day to day lives as citizens. It can be rewarding when you realize you’re a piece to potentially life improving technology!

• If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

Teleportation, if I mastered teleportation, our “Strategic” travel expenses would vanish quicker than a magician’s assistant! Imagine the savings – we’d be teleporting around like intergalactic ninjas, and our budget would thank us by doing a little happy dance.

• What’s the last song you listened to?

Tentative, System of a Down… This baby has me listing to more rock/metal.

• What’s one thing on your bucket list?

Northern Light.. Sad, I missed it a few weeks ago when it was visible to KY. But I would also like to drive from KY to Maine to finish the cross country drive we started when we moved here from CA.

• What aspect of your job do you find most rewarding or fulfilling?

Being a part of an amazing team and assisting with their personal successes and achieving their goals.

• If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

The ability to fly

• What’s one thing on your bucket list?

I’ve always wanted to go bungee jumping!


Olu Senbanjo | Cloud Delivery & Implementation Engineer

• How long have you worked for Strategic Communications?

I’ve been with Strategic Communications for 1 year

• What was your background prior to working for Strategic Communications?

Prior to joining the team I had a solid academic background in computer science and cloud computing. Professionally, I began my career as a systems administrator where I managed on-prem and cloud-based server environments. My next role was a Cloud Solutions Architect at NoBox Technologies, and then I joined the SC team as a Cloud Engineer.

• What aspect of your job do you find the most rewarding or fulfilling?

For me it’d have to be finding solutions to complex problems and developing ideas to create scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions.

• What’s is the best career lesson you’ve learned so far?

The best lesson I’ve learned is the importance of adaptability and continuous learning. In the rapidly evolving tech industry, staying flexible and continually updating my skills through certifications and hands-on experience has been crucial.

• Outside of work what are you passionate about?

I enjoy cycling, playing soccer, spending quality time, playing drums, singing with friends and family and learning new crafts.

• What is your current favortite TV Show, Podcast, or Book that you’d like to share with the world?

My Favorite TV show is “Everybody Hates Chris”

• What is something that people may not know about you?

A cool fact about me is that I love to fly Planes.
