World Blood Day shares our Flag’s birthday to bring awareness about the importance of blood donation, and to recognize the contribution of voluntary unpaid blood donors who save lives. June 18 – Father’s Day – This is your reminder to send out cards and bourbon for all the fathers and father figures in your life.
June 19 – Juneteenth – Strategic offices will remain open; however, government offices will be closed for this federal holiday that honors the end of slavery in the United States. Many cities nationwide will have special events the weekend before and the day of to commemorate.
June 21 – First Day of Summer – Let the 92 days of summer begin. To kick things off right, we’re planning some yummy treats from Kona Ice at HQ to end the day. Families are welcome to stop by too!
June 30 – Summer Outing at Louisville Bats Baseball – Join us for some summer fun with reserved seating in Right Field. Staff, significant others, and families are invited to attend the Louisville Bats game as they take on the Indianapolis Indians. The game theme is “Beachin’ at the Ballpark”.
